Even bigger and better! A huge thank you to all the wonderful community members that helped us make this event possible Downtown SATX, Travis Park, Center City Development & Operations Department, Centro San Antonio, Piñata Time, Tienda La Garza, Bailando Sin Fronteras, and Nicolas Valdez! A special thank you to Mr. Medina, Mr. Gonzalez-Martinez, HFA Staff, and all our talented students. Have a restful weekend everyone!

“I chose to make a paleta cart because my favorite childhood memory was searching for a dollar to go buy a paleta in our neighborhood. Unfortunately, things have become unsafe and I don’t see the carts very often. So I made my own.”
You don’t want to miss seeing what is inside this piñata!

Q: Why did you title this piece “Four Seasons” ?
A: I added a Vivaldi quote to the back of the violin. “There are no words, it’s only music there.”
Great work, Megan! Join us at tonight’s Piñatapalooza Travis Park! An event for the entire family!
Where there are incredibly talented students, there are also incredibly talented and supportive parents! We are both thrilled and honored to have cultural arts activist and performance artist, Nicolas Valdez, perform at tomorrow’s Piñatapalooza! Our event kicks off at 6:00pm at beautiful Travis Park! Don’t miss out!
Aztec Parents: Our Piñatapalooza has grown and we are in need of candy! If you would like to make a donation of candy or candy money, we will be accepting them in the front office until Friday morning.
Thank you for your help and support!

Q: What did you like most about the piñata making process?
A: I liked the process. It was tough! I had to restart 3 times to get it just right. It’s hard to believe that the almond-shape I started off with, turned into this beautiful fish!
Great work, Petra!
