My name is Honora Sanchez. I was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas, but I left to continue my studies in Fort Worth, Texas. I attended Texas Christian University where I received my Bachelor of Science in Communication for my major in Film, Television, and Digital Media. While at TCU, I also minored in Educational Studies and interned with the Lone Star Film Society where I mentored middle school students who were interested in filmmaking. This is my first year as a teacher at HFA and I teach Graphic Design, Film, Professional Communications and Junior Workshop. I love the atmosphere of HFA because the students are all so individual and creative; it is a joy to come into work every day to show them how to flex their creative muscles through graphics, movies, or speaking in front of their peers.
