WELCOMING NEW STUDENTS FOR THE 2024-2025 SCHOOL YEAR!

If you are a high school student who is not currently enrolled in our school,  and would like to attend or learn more about HFA, please contact Ms. Torres at ltorres@thealamedaschool.org or 210.419.2183.

We continue to accept applications for the 2024-2025 school year in grades 9-12. Applications will be accepted based on the availability of an open seat in the grade level for which the student is eligible.

To apply:

1. Obtain an application in one of the following ways: 

    • Complete our online application
    • Pick one up at an upcoming school event
    • Call 210.419.2183 to receive a copy by US Mail
    • Pick one up at HFA during regular office hours


2. Applicants must be a residents of Bexar County and live within the designated area and eligible to enter the 9th, 10th, 11th or 12th grade for the 2024-2025 school year.  (exclusive of military bases) Including these districts: Comal ISD, East Central ISD, Edgewood ISD, Harlandale ISD, Judson ISD, Northside ISD, North East ISD, San Antonio ISD, South San Antonio ISD, Southwest ISD, Southside ISD.

3. Submit your completed paper application to ltorres@thealamedaschool.org or to the Main Office of the school in person or by mail. Please note that we are located in the Community Hub Building at Baptist Temple.

  1. Each sibling interested in enrolling at HFA must submit his/her/their own application for admission. Siblings who failed to have an application on file by April 15, 2024 at 4 pm) will not receive priority for admission. If you have questions about sibling priority, please contact Registrar, Ms. Lorena Torres at ltorres@thealamedaschool.org.
  2. A public lottery will be held for any grade in which applications exceed open seats.
  3. Prospective students whose applications are received after 4pm on April 15, 2024, will be accepted in the order of the receipt of the application.
